Research imagery related to the Multiple Personality Disorder project. I started out by researching the concept and aesthetics behind African and aboriginal mask culture. This eventually developed into the psychology behind masks and how we would use 'personality facades' to protect our ego from outside harm (Jungian theory of multiple personalities).
The image is a still from a short recorded movie, where individuals were invited to anonymously talk in front of a camera, allowing them to divulge things they would prefer to keep secret.
